Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after an accident occurred while he was ploughing snow.
Fidel Info reports that A spokesperson for the star said the 51-year-old was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after the incident at his home near Reno, Nevada.
They added that Renner was “receiving excellent care” following the “weather-related accident”.
Dozens of people have been killed across the US amid blizzard conditions.
The winter storm also caused power cuts and forced the cancellation of thousands of flights.
Local public information officer Kristin Vietti said that Renner was taken to a local hospital and that he was the only one involved in the accident.
The major accident investigation team at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the circumstances of the incident, she added.
The office said in a statement given to the Reuters news agency that it “responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada on Sunday morning at 09:00”.
Renner is probably best known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He has also starred in films such as The Hurt Locker – for which he received a best actor Oscar nomination – American Hustle and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
Renner was also nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for his role in The Town.
He is currently starring in Paramount+ series The Mayor Of Kingstown and recently saw his fictional own-branded hot sauce make a cameo appearance in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Blogger Linda Ikeji’s First Movie Debuts
Popular blogger, Linda Ikeji, has made her debut in the film industry by announcing the release of a film titled “Dark October”.
Fidel Info reports that based on the terrible Aluu Four lynching in 2012, the film was directed by Toka McBaror.
The movie, which is distributed by FilmOne, seeks to highlight the wrong of extrajudicial executions and the significance of justice for everybody.
In the hamlet of Aluu, in the Obio/Akpor local government area, Rivers State, Nigeria, four young men—Ugoing to Obuzor, Lloyd Toku, Chiadika Biringa, and Tekena Elkanah—were wrongfully accused of stealing on October 5, 2012.
The University of Port Harcourt’s innocent students were afterwards mercilessly lynched. This horrific incident rocked the country and raised awareness about extrajudicial executions in Nigeria.
The narrative of these four young men and the events leading up to their tragic deaths will be brought to life in the film “Dark October,” which was made by award-winning Nigerian director Toka McBaror. The lynching’s aftermath and its effects on the victims’ families, friends, and the neighborhood will also be covered in depth.
“This film is a powerful and important story that needs to be told,” said Linda Ikeji, the producer of the film.
“We hope it will spark a conversation about the dangers of extrajudicial killings and the importance of ensuring justice for all.”

The purpose of the film is to raise awareness of this terrible incident and to act as a reminder of the value of justice and fair treatment for all. The movie will portray the victims’ humanity and the toll that their deaths have taken on their families. It will also depict how the incident affected both the locality and the country as a whole.
Chuks Joseph, Munachi Okpara, Kem-Ajieh Ikechukwu, and Kelechukwu Oriaku, four brilliant newbies, are among the cast members of the movie.
On February 3rd, 2023, Dark October will make its debut on Netflix.
Popular Actor Papa Ajasco Is Dead
Femi Ogunrombi, a seasoned Nollywood performer better known as Papa Ajasco, has passed away.
Fidel Info reports that Husseini Shaibu, a theater professional, announced his death on Twitter, On Sunday.
He wrote, “I have just been reliably informed that the ethnomusicologist, former Music Instructor with NATIONALTROUPE and one time stand in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character on the popular #waleadenugaprod comic series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is dead.”
“I am told that the actor, singer, highlifist and trained nurse whom we fondly called ‘Uncle Ogurombo’ (not to his hearing though) passed on this evening (Saturday)”
Ogunrombi was popular for his role in Wale Adenuga’s Comedy series, Papa Ajasco.
Ogunrombi took over the character, Papa Ajasco, when the former character, Abiodun Ayoyinka pulled out of the show.
Kanye West Reportedly Weds Yeezy Designer
Kanye West, an American rapper and business magnate, secretly wed Bianca Censori, an architect with his brand Yeezy.
Fidel Info reports that despite the couple having a wedding ceremony, sources claim that no marriage certificate was produced to officially recognize their partnership.
Ye, as he is now officially known, was seen arriving with Censori at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills earlier this week while sporting a wedding band.
After the ceremony, the ring represents his dedication to Censori, according to people acquainted with the situation.
This comes a month after the rapper released a new song titled “Censori Overload”, in honour of his new woman.
West’s divorce from ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, was legally finalised in 2022.
In November 2022, the reality TV star and rapper both reached a settlement, nearly two years after their split.
Their terms of settlement include joint legal and physical custody of their shared children, North West, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
Both parents will contribute 50% each in covering their children’s medical, security and educational expenses. The rapper’s share in monthly child support amounts to $200,000 which will be paid to Kim.
