International music star, Ayodeji Balogun, whose stage name is Wizkid, has announced the postponement of his much anticipated and widely acclaimed album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ tour.

Fidel Info reports that Wizkid made this known in a statement, citing logistical issues, shared via his social media accounts on Wednesday.

The new dates for the tour wasn’t revealed but the singer stated that the tour has been rescheduled to  fall season, that is, September to December 2023.

The statement read: “Due to unforeseen logistical circumstances the Wizkid – More Love, Less Ego Tour has been postponed to Fall 2023.”

“All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled shows will be honored on the new dates at the respective venues. Stay tuned for more information.”

The ‘MLLE’ tour was scheduled to kick off on March 3 at Houston’s Toyota Center.

The singer was also expected to perform in several North American cities including Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco among others.

Reality TV Big Brother Naija (Season 7) housemate, Hermes Iyele, maintains that he is not in a relationship with Allysyn, his love interest on the show when asked in an interview with Saturday Beats.

Fidel Info reports that In the interview, he said, “We are great. I check up on her, and she checks up on me. She is doing amazingly well with her brand, and I wish her all the best to be honest. However, we are not in a (romantic) relationship; we are great friends though, just navigating life. It has been beautiful, to say the least.”

Speaking on life after being part of BBNaija, he said, “My life changed drastically after BBN. So much has changed, both positively and negatively. Before BBN, there were so many things I wanted to do, but I did not have the resources. Right now, there is a lot that I can do; but I don’t even have the time to do them.”

Iyele also addressed the condemnations he had faced over the years. He said, “I have faced a lot of condemnation in my life. Before BBN, being from a slum, market women, children and other people who had no idea who I was, had many opinions about who they thought I was. They said that as a man, I should not be wearing so many earrings. They also judged me for always wearing shots; and because of how I chose to express myself; both in terms of fashion and my lifestyle generally. However, I disregard opinions that don’t express who I am. Criticisms don’t exactly affect me.”

When asked about his plans for 2023, the popular reality show star said, “I will be launching my clothing line this year. I already do a lot with dance, and I intend to pursue more of that towards the second half of the year.”

“In terms of giving back to society, me and Sunday Ozegbe have been ‘organising’ our community, Oworonshoki, Lagos, for a long time. We have protested over bad roads and violence in our community; and resolved them. We have developed a template for celebrating life in our community and in other places like ours.”
