The people of Kwara will not fall for the latest ploy by irritants and rejected Peoples Democratic Party to use Propaganda and absolute falsehood to discredit the good work of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
We noted the attempts by the frustrated Party to smear our exemplary Governor, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq having realized the difference between his administration and their corrupt regime is like darkness and daylight.
Their latest effort is to criticize the Governor for not commissioning projects to mark his third anniversary in office. Our administration is not into commissioning deceptive and uncompleted projects like the Metropolitan square, Cargo Terminal and Government house residence among others.
The PDP government owed contractors billions of Naira on these projects despite partial handover and commissioning of the projects by the displaced government.
We let our projects which are located in every local government speak for themselves.
We could have commissioned the Ilesha-Baruba ring road and other roads, the Eye clinic, school projects and the KWARALEARN project which puts a computer in every classroom in the state.
If we begin to commission our projects, we will not have time for governance. We have made positive impact in the lives of our people despite receiving less statutory allocation than the PDP administration especially in the last five months that NNPC stopped contributing to the federation account. One will recall that the PDP administration could not pay N18,000 minimum wage but the AbdulRazaq administration continue to pay the new N30,000 minimum wage despite lower allocation from the Federation Account.
Unlike the displaced dynasty in the State ,kwarans can attest to the humble, modest and low profile of the Governor; preferring high media visibility focusing people-oriented projects in all sectors and in all parts of the State rather than focusing on himself since he assumed Office. True to Govrnor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s policy against the profligacy of the past but prudent management of limited resources in the State, huge investments were injected into reviving state owned media particularly, Radio Kwara now heard loud and clear in all parts of the State and the State Television on popular mass – focused Star Times, daily informing, enlightening and educating on the transparency, due process, accountability and good governance of Governor AbdulRahman‘s administration delivering dividends of democracy to the people of the State in every ward .
Unlike the stereotypes, hundreds of thousands of youths and patriots and their families follow the Governor on the go, on his twitter handle, face book and other social media platforms highlighting projects’ ground breaking ceremonies, monitoring and declared for use without waste of scarce resources in the name of projects’ commissioning.
Media aides to the Governor, media crew comprising conventional and new media daily keep kwarans informed of Governor AbdulRazaq’s unprecedented achievements in Road infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Sports, Youth Development, Agriculture, Women empowerment, Civil Service Welfare, Provision of Water in urban and rural areas among others. Kwarans and patriots in the state are fully aware and indeed unimpressed with the selective perception of the sinking opposition party to wish away Governor AbdulRazaq’s world- acclaimed best performance in the history of the political leadership of Kwara State.
Kwarans therefore know better and can see the fruitless efforts by the irritants and rejected PDP to distract the Governor through thoughtless and jejune statements in order to gain attention and relevance. The PDP should wake up from its fantasy land of coming back to power because its attacks on our exemplary Governor would not return it to power in Kwara
We restate that Kwara can now see the difference between PDP 16 years of looting and misrule and the laudable achievements of Governor AbdulRazaq in three years. The difference is Clear! Kwarans have resolved never to go back to the era of brigandage, impunity and backwardness hunting the party and their leader whose woeful rejection by the rest of Nigerians in their just concluded presidential primaries is still fresh in the minds of all patriots.
At the risk of repeating the obvious , Kwarans have vowed never to return to an era when civil servants were owed for many months, when the State was notorious for terrible human capital development indices, when schools became dilapidated and roads became unmotorable, while hospitals were left unattended, with civil servants sadly becoming beggars on the streets.

Osun: Make Provision For Disabilities, APC Tells INEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been urged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to offer provision for voters with impairments as the Osun governorship election approaches (PWD).
The party’s National Leader for Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), Hon. Tolu Bankole, in a statement obtained on Friday, told INEC to show demonstrable improvement on election day by making sure those who have one physical challenge or the other can vote without hassles on July 16.
While commending INEC for the voter education and sensitization training for visually impaired voters on the use of Braille Ballots ahead of the Osun 2022 election, Bankole noted that the commission must allay the fears of people with special needs and assure them that Osun would be an improvement on “the noticable flaws” witnessed in the recently held Ekiti election.
According to him, for an election to be credible, its process must be well understood by the electorates irrespective of their status.
He stated, therefore, that the votes of Persons With Disabilities, considering their huge numbers, must count on election day.
To guarantee the inclusion of the physically challenged in the election, the APC National Working Committee (NWC) member, advised INEC to address issues bothering on: absence of braille easy language; lack sign language interpreters at polling units; lack of dedicated queue for the physically challenged; restriction of vehicular movements on election day among others.
He enjoined INEC to justify the inclusion of persons living with disability in the Electoral Act by improving on the noticeable flaws in the Ekiti gubernatorial election.
He called on all eligible PWDs voters in Osun to go out en masse and vote, without fear of molestation and harassment, saying the new electoral law has paved the way for them o be incorporated into the electoral process.
