Published

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President, has claimed that he won the 2019 presidential election but was cheated out of the mandate by the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The FidelinfoNews gathered Atiku claimed that the APC turned him down. the mandate given to him by voters in 2019 through the use of incumbency and the Federal Government’s instrument

“Under no circumstances will that happen again in the 2023 elections if the party gives me the mandate to run,” he said.

On Tuesday night, the Waziri Adamawa addressed Kaduna PDP delegates at the party Secretariat.

“Give me your votes again, as you did in 2018, and I will not disappoint you,” he pleaded.

If given the party mandate and I emerge President in 2023, I will invest in education, decisively address insecurity, and create employment for the youths…unite the country and give every part of the country a sense of belonging.

” I am here again to solicit for your votes like you gave me in 2018. I won the 2019 presidential election squarely but was robbed of it, just like you people were robbed in Kaduna State using government power of incumbency, but we won’t allow a repeat of that again in 2023.

” I therefore appeal to you to elect correct and competent leaders, if I get the mandate of the party and emerge victorious in 2023, I will unite Nigerians and give every part of the country a sense of belonging.”

“If elected President, I will invest in education, decisively address insecurity and provide employment to our youths, give me your votes and you won’t regret doing so” he told the delegates

Former Kaduna State Governor, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, stated, “we agree in totality that the PDP won the 2019 general elections both at the national and Kaduna State levels, but we were denied victory; we pray that this does not happen again in 2023.”

Mr. Hassan Hyet, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna State, stated that “we pray that Kaduna delegates will do the needful during the primaries.”

2023 Presidency: Your Time Is Not Now, Dino Melaye Tells Peter Obi

Published

Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West, has explained why he thinks Peter Obi, the nominee of the Labour Party (LP), will not be able to win the 2023 presidential election.

He claimed that bringing the nation’s ethnic groupings together was more crucial than Obi’s plan to reduce the cost of governance, which he had heard throughout Obi’s campaigning.

Dino told Obi to wait for his time in a video that was posted on his verified social media accounts sighted by our correspondent

According to him, Peter Obi is one of the best Nigerians. He is administratively astute and intellectually adaptable. He is a great Nigerian and has a great chance of becoming Nigeria’s president soon.

“I celebrate you Peter Obi, and I celebrate your movement. I celebrate your conscientisation of the Nigerian youth and the public on governance.

“But I want to advise, your time is not now because you’ve to wait for your time. I’ve listened to your postulations. I’ve listened to your arguments, deliveries and campaigns, and 90% of your campaign is dwelling on reducing the cost of governance.

“The problem of this country is beyond just cutting the cost of governance… You don’t need to become governance before you can cut the cost of governance. If you’ve a very effective Minister of Finance, budget and planning, CBN governor and chairman of the Economic team, you can cut governance with the operation of the president.

“What we need today in Nigeria is to unify this country. The country is so much divided.. There’s no trust between the North and the South.”
